ProActive Crown

Chicago Dental Laboratory

Proactive dental crowns & bridges have dental caries inhibiting RMGI (resin-modified glass-ionomer) material applied inside the non-load-bearing pocket provided, preferably, on or around the mesial and/or distal area of the crown.

Due to the fluoride releasing and recharging feature of RMGI materials, the Proactive crown has both Preventive and Restorative function built in to one crown.

Crown is not compromised due to the weak flexural strength of RMGI materials which is placed on the non-load-bearing area of the mesial and/or distal area.

After the crown or bridge is seated, RMGI material is placed, preferably, on the mesial and/or distal area and is not noticeable, thereby not compromising the aesthetics of the restoration.
